The stick performs excellent. All the movies stream without any lag. Everything plays in 1080p HD. Has 7 channel stereo sound. The remote is easy to use. The way the remote responds is highly effective. I have not found any negative points towards this item. Buy it I guarantee you will not be disappointed. One Note: You must use the included power supply for best performance. Not all TV brands have the proper power for the USB port to power the stick effectively. So if you are having problems this is the culprit if you are plugged into the TV USB port.

I didn’t really know what to expect so when I got the Firestick it was really easy to use. The original software is still there so you can use it with your Amazon Account too. Simply follow the instructions normally to install it on your TV. I found that the included power adapter isn’t really necessary as long as you have a powered USB Port on your TV to plug it in to. Seller includes an easy to read instruction sheet for accessing Kodi. Definitely change/update your information on the Firestick- seller has to other their info to get the Firestick updated. I did notice that if you are using the 2.4GHZ wireless on your Wireless Network it does affect the speed especially if you have COMCAST/XFinity-, or other Cable provider as they are throttling the 2.4GHZ bandwidth to 25Gbps. They are doing that to pretty much force people to upgrade or update their devices to the 5GHZ bandwidth. If you don’t know for sure run a SpeedTest and find out what your download speed is- upload is not at Full Duplex so it will be slower on both bands. Recommend if you have the 5GHZ band to use that band so you can use the Firestick at the optimal speed. Yes, the Firestick has 5GHZ band! Love the Firestick. The only negative is the Kodi software- more so the providers. I would love to see providers list what language a movie is in and what subtext it uses. So many choices you will need to find out which ones provide what you are looking for. Of course you can always use Amazon for free with Prime- pay the rental fees, or purchase the movie.

Very easy to install. Delivery was quick. There are days when there is no streaming available, but that may have to do with my Wi-Fi. At least one of the apps is finicky and won’t always play. I watch several movies a week and really like the old westerns which are sometimes hard to find for streaming. Overall, I am satisfied with the product and it performs as advertised.

When our cable TV system recently switched from wired boxes to fire sticks, they provided us with three (3) fire sticks for our sets in the kitchen, family room and master bedroom; then made the connections to our wi-fi. Our problem was I had ran cables to two additional sets in guest bedrooms that now had no service at all. However the 2 fire sticks I got from amazon were easy to install on my own and connect to the wi-fi the cable people had already established. Now I have not only the original cable programming but also a vast number of other choices on all my sets.

My old fire sticks honked out I don’t know if it was planned or what but they were pretty old . Anywhooo I ordered the 4k stick . It was easy to set up because it synced my old firestick account. I like this remote a whole lot better than the previous fire stick and the alexa works better than the older version. If you have a old firestick and you are debatingyou should get this!!

My girlfriend had a Roku that kept losing connectivity with the Internet, so I bought her this jailbroken fire stick for Christmas. It works great as expected, but the unexpected surprise was very pleasant. It actually improved the picture and sound quality she was getting through the TV. I thought her TV was just a horrible TV but it turned out to be much better through this fire stick. The picture is much more crisp and clear, and the audio is better as well.

For the most part, this stick worked well for just over a year. I had to reprogram it’s connection to the TV a couple of times (using it as a universal remote but when turning off sometimes switched itself back on) and then just after the year mark it started having more and more reliability issues with the remote but still claimed good power. Turns out it just can’t read the remote’s power level and you have to hold the remote completely still for 5 seconds after turning it off to keep it that way. Still a great option for cutting the cord

It sometimes freezes up or the movie cuts off but you can always stream another until it gets it right. Over all its well worth the purchase and overlooking the small freeze up detail.

I still have a lot to learn as far as accessing the programs. I was familiar with KODI so I have been using that, I also like that I can get Apple TV which was a perk for me. I did have a couple issues trying to get football games, I have notices because of Covid the schedules are mixed up and the streams aren’t working (not the sticks fault) I had questions and I messaged Streamers and they got back to me fairly quickly. I already had FireStick but every time I turned around it needed to be reloaded with a different App to keep it going for some reason. I love these new ones because it is already loaded and with some kind of built in updater deal. I do not know much about these things or how to run them, but so far I am loving it.
